MADHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE is a Christian Minority Institution of Higher Technical Education, which has been established in the year 1998 with a mission of providing Quality Technical Education to the student community by promoting innovation, creativity and imparting life skills with positive attitude and to mould them to become successful and responsible professionals of the society. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) – New Delhi & affiliated to Anna University – Chennai. The college presently has 6 branches of study in Engineering/Technology, namely, BE in ECE, EEE, CSE, MECH, CIVIL Engineering, and B.Tech IT and P.G Programming in MBA,MCA,M.E Power Electronics and Communication System. Presently 3500 students are studying in our college.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 1998 with the vision of developing the department into a Centre of Excellence in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Towards this, the department keeps upgrading its facilities to global standards in the laboratories to meet the ever growing demands in the industry.
The department has high-profile faculty of proven ability with diverse specialization. The faculty members are actively involved in research in various domains of Electronics & Communication Engineering. They are also holding the membership with professional societies such as ISTE, IETE, IEEE, CSI, and Institution of Engineers.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering are proudly present the National Level Technical Symposium TECHTEIN'16 on 09th September 2016. TECHTEIN'16 is a massive event for which we are inviting the various engineering college students in all over India. So we are expecting more than 1000 students from various engineering colleges. Symposium is an event which sharps the student’s technical knowledge as well as the platform to enjoy. The TECHTEIN'16 includes technical events and non-technical events.
